How to Take Good Care of Yourself

10am - 2pm

A Mindfulness Half-Day with Dave Austin

10am – 2pm | Quaker Centre, Milton Keynes

We often talk about self-care, but what does it really mean to take good care of ourselves in ways that are realistic, kind and sustainable?

Join Dave Austin for a gentle and restorative half-day exploring mindfulness, self-care and what it means to respond to ourselves with greater awareness and kindness.

This is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, slow things down and reconnect with what you genuinely need.

What to Expect

During the half-day, Dave will gently guide you through:

  • A settling practice to arrive and feel grounded
  • Guided mindfulness and meditation practices
  • Reflections on what good care really looks like for you
  • Simple practices you can take into everyday life
  • Time for quiet awareness, rest and reflection

There will be periods of silence and guidance throughout, with plenty of space to simply be. You are welcome to sit on a chair or cushion and to move or rest whenever you need to.

A Gentle Note

You don’t need to wait until you’re exhausted to take care of yourself.
This hour is simply a chance to pause, breathe, and begin again — kindly.
